Grand Junction, Colo. -- Local law enforcement along with the Western Colorado Peace Officers Academy cadets have teamed up with Red Robin, a Grand Junction restaurant, to raise money for the Chipeta Elementary 5th graders. The funds raised will send the Chipeta Elementary 5th graders to Camp Redcloud.
The Western Colorado Peace Officers Academy cadets have a community project assigned to each graduating class. The Academy cadets choose their own project, market it and complete it. This is the project for the current Academy cadets, who will graduate the Peace Officers Academy later this year.
