Recent Agency Arrests Include Meth, Sex Assault

Mesa County, Colo. -- A traffic stop just after 6 p.m. yesterday, resulted in two adults being arrests on charges related to possession and distribution of methamphetamine. Lydia Campbell, who is a parolee, 21, of Colorado, and Vernon Watson, 54, of Clifton, were booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility.

Over 7 grams of meth was located during this incident. The street value for meth is approximately $100 per gram. 

Vernon was issued a $50,000.00 PR bond and released from jail. He is scheduled back in court on October 17, at 8 a.m. Lydia is being held without bond on a parole hold. For information about her as a Department of Corrections client, click here.

Donald Study, 42, of GJ

Arrested this afternoon on a warrant for 23 counts of sexual assault on a child related charges, was Donald George Study, Jr., 42, of Grand Junction. He was booked into the jail without incident. He was previously booked into the jail on September 23, 2014, for charges related to domestic violence.
