Patrol Arrested Wanted Man, Passenger Arrested With Meth

Two Arrested On Traffic Stop

Mesa County, Colo. -- Saturday afternoon, deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of 31 1/2 Road and Perkins Drive, Grand Junction. Steven Cordova, 49, of Grand Junction was found to be driving without a valid license and had multiple warrants issued for his arrest.

The passenger, Amber Guerrero, 30, of Grand Junction, was arrested on 5 counts of possession of meth, and one count each of possession/distribution with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both were booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility. Amber received a $25,000 cash or surety bond, and Steven is being held on $125,000 cash only bond along with a $10,000 cash or surety bond. This is Steven's sixth booking into our jail in 2014 and her third for this year.
