Patrol Arrests Woman With Meth In Traffic Stop Overnight

Woman Booked Into Jail Five Times In Seven Months, Latest Arrest For Meth

Mesa County, Colo. -- A 27-year-old woman, from Grand Junction, was arrested and booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility yesterday night, on multiple felony charges. Jennifer Hargis was a passenger in a vehicle stopped by patrol deputies at 29 and D 1/2 Roads, for traffic violations.

Deputies observed a hypodermic needle in the vehicle where Jennifer had been sitting as a passenger, along with locating paraphernalia used for smoking meth in Jennifer's undergarments. She was booked on a charge of possessing methamphetamine, three counts of violating bail bond conditions and possessions of drug paraphernalia, without incident. 

Since September 2013, Jennifer has been booked into the jail four previous times by officers with the Grand Junction Police Department on warrants, theft, criminal impersonation and fraud charges.
