Mesa County, Colo.-- The missing snowmobiler ran out of gas, but made his way to the Electric Mountain Lodge near Paonia where Lodge employees contacted Delta County dispatch at 12:57 p.m. The missing snowmobiler was reported to be doing okay, with no medical issues.

Search and Rescue volunteers are standing down the operation near Bohner Reservoir.

Previously Released at 11:17 a.m.-- Rural Area Deputies and Mesa County Search and Rescue, Inc. were dispatched to the Bonham Reservoir area last night at 7 p.m.for an overdue adult male snowmobiler who got separated from the rest of his snowmobiling party and didn't return to the vehicle(s), as planned. CenturyLink, through a volunteer partnership with us, has provided their helicopter today for the search effort on the Grand Mesa. In addition, deputies have requested and been granted a helicopter from the High Altitude Army National Guard (from Eagle County) to add to the aerial view for this search. Search and Rescue volunteers in the field exceed 20 members, along with support operations and deputies working this mission.

Due to the proximity to Delta County, officials there have been notified. In addition, the lodges on the Grand Mesa have also been notified of this mission.
