Street Crimes Unit Deputies Arrest Two With Meth

Two Arrested With Large Amount Of Meth

Mesa County, Colo. -- Yesterday night, deputies with the agency's Street Crimes Unit conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that pulled into the North Avenue Wal-Mart. The vehicle had three adults in it when contacted by deputies for fictitious license plates on the car.

Benjamin Myers, 25, of Grand Junction and Jeffrey Rosenthal, 45, of Delta, were arrested without incident and booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility after deputies made contact with the vehicle occupants and discovered a large amount of methamphetamine in the possession of both men. The street value of the meth confiscated in this bust is estimated to be about $5,500.00.

Both suspects were booked into the jail on charges related to possession of methamphetamine, intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and Benjamin was also booked on a tampering with evidence charge and Jeffrey was also booked on an additional charge of money laundering.
