The San Diego County Sheriff's Office Honor Guard stopped in Grand Junction in a special new truck designed for the occasion as they make their way to Washington D.C. for National Police Week.

They will be making numerous stops to other agencies along the way to honor and respect fallen officers.

SDCSO Honor Guard Members Deputies John Kelleher,
Elisha Hubbard, Tamani Pugh and Dino Moreno

While it's sobering for the Mesa County Sheriff's Office to be one of their stops, we are humbled and honored by the San Diego County Sheriff's Office's gesture.

Thank you for your kindness, respect and continued support.
