MESA COUNTY, Colo -- Friday morning CNN featured Mesa County Sheriff Deputy Derek Geer during its "Beyond the Call of Duty" segment.Geer was killed in the line of duty on February 8, 2016, but continued to save lives with an organ donation.
CNN's Kyung Lah and her crew spent Tuesday with Geer's family and the Mesa County Sheriff's Office filming.
