Mesa County, Colo. -- From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Friday, May 15, the Sheriff's Office SWAT Team will be using the U. S. Bureau of Land Management's rifle range for specialized training. The rifle range will not be closed to the public. In addition, training signs will be posted in the area of the rifle range to notify citizens of the SWAT training event.The BLM rifle range is located north on 27 1/4 Road, near the bookcliffs.
