Street Crimes Deputy Arrest Woman With Meth, Patrol Arrests Man After Teen Sick From Marijuana

Mesa County, Colo. -- Yesterday afternoon, a deputy with patrol arrested 18-year-old Tremaine Garcia, at the Racquet Club Apartments after responding to a medical issue with a 14-year-old who self admitted to smoking marijuana with Tremaine earlier in the day at a location in the Redlands, on February 09, 2014. 

Tremaine was arrested without incident and booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility on two counts of a class 4 Felony, of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. The teen who got sick after smoking marijuana was checked out by local paramedics, but it wasn't noted in the deputy's report whether the teen was transported to a local hospital for additional care, or not.

Just a few hours later in the afternoon, deputies with the Street Crimes Unit saw a female walking in the area of Ute Avenue and 13th Street, in downtown Grand Junction, whom they recognized as having outstanding warrants. They contacted Angela Roberts, 42, of Grand Junction, and arrested her without incident on the warrants. The deputies located approximately 0.7 grams of methamphetamine in Angela's possession, in addition to drug paraphernalia. 

Angela was booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility on outstanding warrants stemming from cases generated in 2012 and 2013, a class 4 Felony for possession of a controlled substance (meth), drug paraphernalia and violation of bail bond conditions, which is a class 6 Felony charge.
