Country Jam Stats Day 1, June 13, 2019

MESA COUNTY, Colo - The following statistics are from Day 1 of Country Jam 2019.

The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office with the assistance of Colorado State Liquor Enforcement Officers were out patrolling the festival Thursday and made 45 arrests for alcohol related offenses. All 45  were issued a summons.

A full breakdown of the underage liquor infractions are listed below.

Mesa County Sheriff Deputies also responded to several calls at the festival and made the following arrests:
Rudy Gillean, 49, of Grand Junction was arrested at the campground for Domestic Violence, Harassment Strikes Shoves Kicks (Class 3 Misdemeanor). 
Jason Apodaca, 39 of Albuquerque, NM was arrested at the campgrounds for Possession of a Schedule I/II Substance (Cocaine) (Class 4 Drug Felony).
Drew McKinzie, 24 of Grand Junction was arrested for Violation of a Protection Order (Alcohol) (Class 1 Misdemeanor).
Lower Valley Fire Protection District treated 31 patients on site with 4 transports to the hospital. The breakdown for treatment is as follows: 10 allergic reactions, 6 alcohol intoxication, 1 cardiac, 5 dehydration and 9 traumas.
