Wanted Man Arrested With Meth

Mesa County, Colo. -- A deputy on routine patrol recognized a wanted man walking on Unaweep Avenue, in Grand Junction in the early morning hours of September 23. The patrol deputy contacted Shaye Pierce, 23, of Grand Junction and arrested him on the multiple outstanding warrants.

In Shaye's pocket the deputy located two packages of suspected methamphetamine, with a combined weight of about 22 grams (included packaging). Shaye was booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility on one felony charge of possession of a schedule I/II (meth) and the warrants. Shaye received two cash only bonds, totaling  $3,350 and a $5,000 PR bond. He is next scheduled to appear in court on September 29, at 8 a.m.
