7/27/30 UPDATE: The Mesa County Coroner's Office has released the following
"The Mesa County Coroner’s Office has completed its examination regarding the death of Conrad Earnest, a 62-year-old male resident of Grand Junction, Colorado. Mr. Earnest was the male that was reported missing and later found in Glade Park, Colorado on July 24, 2020. The cause of death is ischemic heart disease and the manner of death is natural. "

MESA COUNTY, Colo – Thursday, July 23, 2020, the Mesa County
Sheriff’s Office and Mesa County Search and Rescue were called to assist
locating a missing person in the Glade Park area.
Deputies searched late into the night and again this morning
along with the missing person’s friends. At approximately 10:30 Friday morning,
the person’s car was found in the Miracle Rock campground. A short time later
an adult male was found deceased on the Miracle Rock hiking trail.
The Mesa County Coroner’s Office will release the person’s identity once next-of-kin has been notified. They are
also responsible for determining the cause and manner of death.
The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating this as an
unattended death. Nothing suspicious is suspected at this time.
