Funeral Arrangements For Deputy Derek Geer
Mesa County, Colo -- Even as we await the process of Deputy Geer's organs being harvested for donation, it's necessary that we begin planning the logistics of his memorial services. While it seems contrary to move forward with these plans while Derek is still on life support, we know that it's inevitable that life sustaining measures will soon cease, and the celebration of his life will follow. We anticipate a large turnout of support to honor Derek, and therefore want to provide this information to the public as soon as possible.
Services for Deputy Geer will be held at Canyon View Vineyard Church, located at 736 24 1/2 Road, on Monday, February 15, at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at the Orchard Mesa Municipal Cemetery at 2620 Legacy Way.
