MESA COUNTY, Colo - The Mesa County Sheriff's Office Investigators have obtained an arrest warrant for Michael Anthony DuPont, 34, in connection with the October 16, 2016 homicide of Paul Davis.
DuPont is facing charges of Murder in the First Degree, Aggravated Robbery, and First Degree Burglary.
He is currently being held at the Denver County Jail on a Parole Hold and unrelated drug charges.
DuPont is the second suspect arrested on First Degree Murder charges in the case. Matthew Mitchell, 37, was arrested January 16, 2017 by the Aurora Police Department. Mitchell is currently being held at the Arapahoe County Jail.
All documents related to this case are still sealed by the courts.
The investigation is still ongoing and the Mesa County Sheriff's Office anticipates more arrests will be made in connection to this case.
