UPDATE: Two kids contacted

UPDATE: Both of the kids' parents have been contacted. MCSO thanks the public's help for identifying them.

MESA COUNTY, Colo - The Mesa County Sheriff's Office is looking for two boys who were interviewed by local media who may have witnessed what lead up to the shooting on the 2900 block of D Road Saturday afternoon.

The boys, Zachary, 10, and Drew, 11, told to the Daily Sentinel they were, "walking past the home minutes before the shooting occurred." The boys are believed to have been 'walking to a convenience store to buy icy fruit drinks when they heard “yelling, cussing and crying,”' according to the article.

The boys are not in any trouble, investigators would like to speak to them about what they may have witnessed.
