Kruckenberg was wanted for running from deputies in January after he absconded from parole.
At 7:22 am a Glade Park resident spotted Kruckenberg at the entrance to his property on DS Road, about 4 miles west of the Glade Park Store. The vehicle he was driving in had run out of gas and was blocking the entrance to the property. Deputies have since learned that vehicle was stolen out of Utah.
Deputies were called in and they arrested Kruckenberg. He was transported to the Mesa County Detention Facility.
Kruckenberg’s charges include Vehicular Eluding (Class 5 Felony), and Escape From Felony Conviction (Class 3 Felony). He also has felony warrants out of the Grand Junction Police Department and Parole.
