MESA COUNTY, Colo - Mesa County Sheriff's Investigators obtained a felony warrant for Nicole Henderson, 45, of Grand Junction in connection to an embezzling case. She turned herself in Tuesday to the Mesa County Detention Facility.

Henderson is accused of embezzling $221,000 from Grand West Kia from January 2011 to June 2016. She faces the charge of Theft, Class 3 Felony.

Mesa County Sheriff's Investigators believe Henderson wrote checks to herself and other family members, but logged it in the accounting system under a legitimate payee.

Henderson is cooperating with investigators.

She is currently being held at the Mesa County Detention Facility on a No Bond Hold until first appearance in court. For updated bond information on any inmate currently in our jail facility, visit our Inmate Inquiry System webpage.
