Grand Junction woman wanted for embezzling thousands

MESA COUNTY, Colo - Mesa County Sheriff's Investigators obtained a felony warrant for Nicole Henderson, 45, of Grand Junction in connection to an embezzling case.

Henderson is accused of embezzling $221,000 from Grand West Kia from January 2011 to June 2016. She faces the charge of Theft, Class 3 Felony.

Mesa County Sheriff's Investigators believe Henderson wrote checks to herself and other family members, but logged it in the accounting system under a legitimate payee.

Henderson is cooperating with investigators.

A Class 3 Felony can carry a sentence of 4 to 8 years in prison with 5 years mandatory Parole.
