Gateway Man Arrested on Kidnapping and Sexual Assault Charges

Mesa County, Colo -- On Sunday, February 21, 2016, Mesa County Deputies arrested Claude Wilkerson, 61, at 451 Foy Road, Gateway. An arrest warrant had been issued for Wilkerson, alleging he committed the crimes of First Degree Kidnapping, a class 2 felony, Sexual Assault, a class 3 felony, Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, a class 4 felony, False Imprisonment, a class 5 felony, and Harboring a Minor, a class 2 misdemeanor.
Wilkerson is being held at the Mesa County Detention Facility on a $1,000,000.00 bond.
