Street Crimes Unit Arrests Two With Meth, A Third Wanted By Parole

Mesa County, Colo. -- Overnight, the deputies with the Sheriff's Office Street Crimes Unit conducted a traffic stop in the Riverside neighborhood of Grand Junction, about 5:30 p.m., yesterday. In the vehicle, deputies contact Parole absconder Ezra Howard, 37, of Grand Junction, along with Mark Palmer, 37, of DeBeque and Leah Burrows, 28, of Clifton.

Deputies located at least one loaded hypodermic needle and 6 grams (total) of methamphetamine. Ezra was booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility on a Parole hold, which won't allow him to post bond. Leah and Mark were also booked into the jail on drug and paraphernalia charges, along with a traffic infraction charge for Mark.
