Mesa County, Colo. -- For the second year in a row, the Sheriff's Office is teaming up with the local Aeropostale clothing store, located in the Mesa Mall, for Teens For Jeans! This is a donation program, where you -the public- bring us your gently used jeans and Aeropostale gives you a 25% off coupon to use in their store on a new pair of jeans!
Last year, the Sheriff's Office filled our donation box several times during the collection period. We hope to do the same this year. Aeropostale has given us cards with texting instructions on them for anyone to grab when they leave us their used jeans. Donors follow the instructions on the Aeropostale card and get the 25% off coupon direct to their cell phone. It's that simple.
Our donation box for Teens For Jeans is located in our agency lobby, at 215 Rice Street, Grand Junction. Our lobby is open to the public Monday through Friday, 9a.m. to 4 p.m., daily. This donation event is going on now through February 16, 2014.
