Married Couple Arrested With Meth, Prescription Pills

Married Parachute Residents Arrested Saturday

Mesa County, Colo. -- This is their first booking into the Mesa County Detention Facility for 2014, but both suspects were arrested and booked into our jail in 2013 a total of three times. Married couple, M'Lisa Anderson, 48, and Daniel Emert, 43, both of Parachute, were each arrested by Grand Junction Police Department officers in 2013 on meth related charges and booked an additional two times into the jail on warrants that same year.

M'Lisa and Daniel were most recently arrested by deputies on Saturday, January 25, 2014, in the 2900 block of North Avenue after deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle Daniel was illegally driving. M'Lisa was arrested on outstanding warrants and additional charges for methamphetamine, marijuana and prescription pills she had in her possession. Daniel also was charged and booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility on charges related to methamphetamine possession, prescription pill possession, drug paraphernalia and traffic violations. Neither M'Lisa or Daniel had a prescription for any of the pills they had in their possession.
